Firmixa Independence & Commercial Disclosure

Last Updated: September 2026

Firmixa is designed to provide independent financial intelligence, research, verification and company assessments.

This Independence & Commercial Disclosure explains how Firmixa separates commercial relationships from independent research, scoring, verification and review moderation.

This Policy should be read together with the Firmixa Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Reviews & Verification Policy, and Firmixa Business Terms.

1. Our Independence Principle

Firmixa aims to maintain a clear separation between:

  • independent research;
  • regulatory intelligence;
  • verification;
  • scoring;
  • review moderation;

and

  • advertising;
  • sponsorship;
  • affiliate relationships;
  • commercial partnerships;
  • Firmixa Business subscriptions;
  • other paid services.

A commercial relationship should not determine an independent Firmixa assessment.

2. Firmixa Scores Cannot Be Purchased

Firmixa may publish independent assessments including:

  • Firmixa Score;
  • Trust Score;
  • Global Score;
  • regulatory assessments;
  • evidence indicators;
  • verification indicators;
  • warning indicators;
  • rankings.

Companies cannot purchase a higher independent Firmixa Score.

Payment to Firmixa does not automatically improve:

  • scoring;
  • regulatory assessment;
  • verification status;
  • ranking;
  • evidence conclusions;
  • independent research outcomes.

3. Firmixa Business

Companies may pay for services through Firmixa Business.

These services may include:

  • profile-management tools;
  • business verification;
  • company responses to reviews;
  • analytics;
  • notifications;
  • business dashboards;
  • enhanced communication tools;
  • other business functionality.

A Firmixa Business subscription does not provide editorial control over Firmixa's independent research.

4. Claimed Profiles

A company may claim its Firmixa profile.

Claiming a profile may allow the company to:

  • submit corrections;
  • update eligible business information;
  • respond to reviews;
  • provide supporting evidence;
  • manage selected profile details.

Claiming a profile does not mean that the company controls:

  • Firmixa Scores;
  • regulatory conclusions;
  • independent warnings;
  • review moderation;
  • Firmixa methodology.

5. Sponsored Content

Firmixa may offer sponsored or paid visibility opportunities.

Where appropriate, sponsored content or commercial placements may be identified using labels such as:

  • Sponsored;
  • Partner;
  • Promoted;
  • Advertisement;
  • other clear commercial disclosures.

Sponsored visibility should not automatically alter independent Firmixa scoring.

6. Sponsorship Is Not Endorsement

A sponsored relationship does not necessarily mean that Firmixa endorses or recommends the company.

Users should evaluate sponsored companies using the same independent due-diligence principles applied to other companies.

7. Affiliate Relationships

Firmixa may use affiliate or referral links.

Firmixa may receive compensation when a user:

  • follows an eligible link;
  • creates an account with a third party;
  • purchases an eligible service;
  • completes another qualifying action.

The amount or existence of affiliate compensation does not automatically change Firmixa's independent assessment of the company.

8. Affiliate Links and Rankings

Affiliate relationships should not automatically determine:

  • company rankings;
  • Trust Scores;
  • regulatory assessments;
  • evidence indicators;
  • review ratings.

A company should not receive a favourable independent assessment simply because Firmixa may earn compensation from referrals.

9. Partner Relationships

Firmixa may enter into commercial partnerships with companies operating in financial services or related industries.

Partnerships may include:

  • marketing cooperation;
  • events;
  • research collaboration;
  • data arrangements;
  • business services;
  • referral relationships;
  • technology partnerships.

Where a partnership creates a material commercial relationship, Firmixa may disclose that relationship where appropriate.

10. Regulatory Assessment Independence

Firmixa may analyse regulatory information using sources such as:

  • official regulator databases;
  • public regulatory records;
  • company disclosures;
  • verified documentation.

Commercial relationships should not override verified regulatory evidence.

A company cannot pay Firmixa to:

  • create a licence that does not exist;
  • hide a verified regulatory warning;
  • change an independent licence verification result without evidence;
  • remove a verified regulatory issue solely because it is commercially inconvenient.

11. Evidence-Based Corrections

A paying company may submit evidence just like any other eligible company.

If reliable evidence demonstrates that Firmixa information is inaccurate or outdated, Firmixa may correct the information.

A correction based on valid evidence should not be interpreted as commercial influence.

12. Review Independence

Firmixa aims to keep legitimate user reviews independent from commercial relationships.

A company cannot purchase:

  • deletion of legitimate negative reviews;
  • verification of fraudulent positive reviews;
  • artificial improvement of customer ratings;
  • preferential moderation solely because it pays Firmixa.

Review moderation follows the Reviews & Verification Policy.

13. Company Responses

Commercial customers may be allowed to respond to reviews.

The ability to respond does not give the company control over the original review.

Firmixa may moderate both user reviews and company responses according to applicable policies.

14. Advertising

Firmixa may display advertising.

Advertisements may be selected based on factors such as:

  • page context;
  • company category;
  • user interests;
  • campaign arrangements.

Where appropriate, advertisements should be distinguishable from independent editorial or research content.

15. Data and Research Services

Firmixa may provide commercial services involving:

  • research;
  • company intelligence;
  • aggregated data;
  • reports;
  • APIs;
  • licensing.

Commercial access to Firmixa data does not automatically provide the customer with control over the independent information contained in Firmixa's public platform.

16. Commercial Visibility

Certain companies may purchase increased visibility in areas specifically designed for commercial promotion.

Where appropriate, such visibility should be clearly distinguishable from independent rankings.

A paid placement should not be presented as an independent ranking solely because it was purchased.

17. Rankings

Where Firmixa presents independent rankings, the methodology may consider factors such as:

  • scores;
  • regulatory information;
  • evidence;
  • company attributes;
  • other relevant analytical factors.

Commercial compensation should not secretly replace the methodology used for an independent ranking.

Sponsored placements may be displayed separately where appropriate.

18. Editorial Control

Firmixa retains editorial and analytical control over its independent content.

This includes control over:

  • methodology;
  • scores;
  • research conclusions;
  • evidence standards;
  • regulatory assessments;
  • review moderation;
  • independent warnings.

Commercial agreements do not automatically transfer this control to third parties.

19. Conflicts of Interest

Firmixa may seek to identify and manage material conflicts of interest.

Where a commercial relationship could reasonably be relevant to how users interpret content, Firmixa may provide additional disclosure.

20. Changes in Commercial Relationships

Commercial relationships may begin, change or end over time.

A company's commercial status with Firmixa may therefore change without necessarily affecting its independent assessment.

21. No Guarantee of Positive Coverage

A company that:

  • purchases a Firmixa Business subscription;
  • sponsors content;
  • participates in an affiliate programme;
  • enters into a partnership;
  • purchases advertising;

is not guaranteed positive editorial coverage.

Firmixa may continue to publish independent information that is critical, negative or unfavourable where supported by evidence and applicable policies.

22. No Guarantee of Commercial Relationship

A high Firmixa Score does not guarantee that Firmixa has, or will enter into, a commercial relationship with a company.

Likewise, the absence of a commercial relationship does not automatically reduce a company's independent score.

23. User Responsibility

Commercial disclosures help users understand potential relationships, but users should still conduct their own research before making financial or commercial decisions.

Firmixa's commercial relationships do not eliminate the risks associated with third-party financial services.

24. Updates to This Policy

Firmixa may update this Policy as:

  • commercial models evolve;
  • new products are introduced;
  • sponsorship models change;
  • affiliate practices change;
  • business services develop.

The latest version will be published with an updated Last Updated date.
